The Joy Project Spreads Smiles with Laptop Donation and Theatre Surprise for St. Christopher Children’s Home

In another joyful step towards empowering young minds, The Joy Project proudly donated four brand-new laptops to the St. Christopher Children’s Home earlier today. The donation aims to support the children’s educational and technological growth while boosting the Home’s administrative efficiency.

Representing The Joy Project were Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew, Founder and Executive Director, and Mrs. Charisse Wilkin, Director, who joined several excited resident children, Acting Administrator Ms. Shanizua James, and House Parent Ms. Edwards for the handover. Ms. James expressed her heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the Home, highlighting how impactful the devices will be in replacing outdated equipment and streamlining their daily tasks.

In addition to the laptops, The Joy Project also presented tickets to JOY, a theatrical production hosted by Poise SKN. Inspired by the shared name and its uplifting message, the team purchased tickets for all 13 children and their chaperones to attend the event.

Adding an extra special touch, a confident and eloquent 9-year-old resident delivered a warm vote of thanks, charming everyone present with her words and appreciation.

The Joy Project continues to shine a light on opportunities that uplift, inspire, and bring joy to communities across the Federation.
