The Cool Schools Initiative is a climate comfort project designed to address the impact of rising temperatures in classrooms as a result of the climate crisis.

Through the distribution and installation of fans in schools, the initiative helps to create more comfortable learning environments for both students and teachers. In doing so, it supports well-being and productivity while highlighting how the climate crisis increasingly affects everyday spaces and experiences.

To date, the initiative has partnered with dozens of institutions, including day care centres, preschools and primary schools, and has distributed and installed more than 250 fans.
