Vision of Joy Programme Delivers Free Eye Examinations to 81 Children Across St. Kitts and Nevis

The Joy Project, in partnership with Eyes First, proudly announces the successful delivery of free professional eye examinations to children across the Federation through the Vision of Joy Programme. The clinics were held on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th, marking two impactful days dedicated to supporting children’s eye health.

A total of 81 children were examined by Dr. Andrew and his dedicated team, who provided detailed screenings along with follow-up guidance for parents and guardians. Several children were found to be in need of corrective lenses, and each of those prescriptions will be filled free of charge through the initiative.

The programme recognises that clear vision plays a fundamental role in a child’s development. Good eyesight supports learning, strengthens confidence, and empowers children to show up at school and in life with their fullest potential.
The Joy Project extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Andrew, Mrs. Andrew and the entire Eyes First team for their exemplary service, to the parents and guardians for their cooperation, and to partners and supporters who continue to believe in the mission of creating brighter opportunities for children.

Every child deserves the gift of clear sight, and the Vision of Joy Programme remains committed to making that a reality for families throughout St. Kitts and Nevis.
