The Joy Project hosts a tea party for Girls Illuminated
The Joy Project recently hosted a special tea party for the girls participating in the 2025 Girls Illuminated St. Kitts & Nevis Health and Wellness Program. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with learning, laughter, and sisterhood.
We were honoured to have Miss St. Kitts and Nevis, Daneika Dickenson, join us for an inspiring and interactive session on boundaries and stepping confidently into one’s power. We also welcomed Mrs. Daislyn Sharpe, who led a thoughtful etiquette session that helped the girls embrace poise, grace, and confidence in how they carry themselves in every space.
The afternoon concluded with a fun and creative activity where each girl designed and decorated her own fascinator, adding a personal touch to the tea party experience while reinforcing the value of self-expression.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Rituals Coffee and Rituals Sushi for their generous support in providing delicious donuts and sushi for the girls to enjoy. Their kind contribution helped make the day even more special.
The Joy Project and Girls Illuminated share a common mission: to empower, uplift, and equip young women with the tools they need to thrive. We are proud to support this transformative program and look forward to continued collaboration in the years ahead.
