The Joy Project Marks International Day of Yoga with Uplifting Women’s Session
In recognition of International Day of Yoga, women came together on Saturday for an uplifting experience of movement, mindfulness, and community at “Balancing Her Joy,” a special yoga and wellness session hosted by The Joy Project.
The session offered participants an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and embrace the power of intentional stillness and breath. Guided by seasoned instructors Dale Amory of Imagine Yoga St. Kitts and Natalia Esposito of Anahata Soul Co. Ltd, attendees explored gentle movement practices and grounding techniques aimed at promoting emotional and physical balance.
Two hydration stations were provided courtesy of Espo Water Solutions, ensuring participants remained refreshed throughout the session.
Founder and Executive Director of The Joy Project, Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew, expressed her gratitude to all who participated: “We were honoured to share space with such an open-hearted and vibrant group of women. Events like this remind us of the importance of prioritizing well-being in our daily lives, especially for women who carry so much in service of their families and communities.”
The Joy Project extends sincere thanks to the yoga guides for their thoughtful leadership and to all who joined and found value in the session. As part of the organisation’s commitment to holistic empowerment, more wellness events are planned in the months ahead.
